REBELS WORTH JOINING UP WITH

Another spectacular Bruno Gmunder publication! Combining the "innocence" of Bel Ami porn actors with the edgy, challenging photography of Joan Crisol was a match made in gay erotica heaven. Previous Bel Ami books (usually by Howard Roffman) have all tended to show these sexy young men in more playful and innocent activities. And please, that's not a criticism of their cherished work. I have all of Roffman's and Benno Thoma's Bel Ami books and I love them all. But there is just something about the way Crisol has been able to capture that little extra edge with these models that pushes this book of male erotica to a different level. He has "roughed-up" these beautiful boys and put them in some quite daring set-ups. It may sound corny but the Bel Ami boys appear to have become Bel Ami men under the guidance of Crisol. And the color reproduction, with Crisol's very unique lighting technique is really something else. This is a big (13.5 x 10.5) full-color book of beautiful Bel Ami models displaying their very sizeable credentials in all their glory. Also bought the calendar featuring the "best" dozen shots from the book which is definitely worth keeping beyond the year. Just as well Crisol wasn't photographing these guys for the ES collection or there would have been some very serious damage done to all those swim briefs and shorts!

This is a nice larger size hardcover book. Defiantly good size pictures. I was hoping for more male sex parts exposed. Most of the guys there I do not recognize from any of the DVD's from the Bel Ami Collection. It would be nice if there where more grasping and groping of parts. Jerking of parts and blowing of parts.
